A creative degree from a top British university...
Course overview
This dynamic final year degree programme is run in association with our partner university Heriot-Watt, one of the best universities in the UK for art and design. The emphasis of the final year syllabus is on the international fashion industry and students' future involvement and participation in the industry.
Students will choose a particular market at which to aim their designs and then create a portfolio suitable for that specific market. They will also study the commercial principles and practices that would be involved in marketing their portfolio. Project work is undertaken to enable an appropriate understanding of current industrial practice, and visits to fashion houses, retailers and fashion shows allow for a deeper understanding of the global nature of the fashion industry. (Studying in the West End of London is of course the perfect location for students to experience the industry first hand).
On successful completion of the programme students are awarded a bachelors degree in Fashion Design from Heriot-Watt University at a graduation ceremony at the University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
