As residents of one of the world's most exciting and dynamic capital cities, our students have plenty to enjoy in their leisure time.
London has an incredible history stretching back to AD43 when it was originally founded by the Romans. Amazing architecture and centuries of history abound, from the imposing Tower of London and the Houses of Parliament to the numerous museums and art galleries. It is truly a world cultural centre, with a packed calendar of cultural events including London Fashion Week, and Frieze London, one of the world’s leading contemporary art fairs.
It is a uniquely cosmopolitan city too, with over one in four Londoners having been born outside the UK. This makes for a wonderfully vibrant and tolerant society in which people of all creeds, backgrounds, orientations and interests can feel at home. It is no surprise that London is consistently voted one of the very best cities in the world in which to live.
To help our new students make the best of the leisure opportunities available to them we provide them with membership of International Students House, a social centre that specialises in providing social and leisure facilities for those new to London.
