Professional qualifications and a degree - a very marketable combination!
At West London College we believe in combining professional diploma courses with university degree programmes to give the student the best of both worlds, vocational and academic qualifications. In the case of computer science we combine the syllabi of the British Computer Society, the most respected and prestigious of all British IT examination boards, with a BSc (Hons) from the University of Greenwich, one of London's biggest universities.
As a consequence, our students achieve a valuable qualification for each year of study (see entry point selector chart), and will be eligible for British Computer Society membership (MBCS) as well as a university degree.
These qualifications are guaranteed to impress employers in the UK and around the world. It is worth noting that most senior practitioners in the British computer industry, commercial and academic, are members of the British Computer Society.
