In the business world specialist skills are now the key to success and the top jobs go to those who can demonstrate their ability with recognised Bachelor's & Master's degrees.
The College has offered business studies courses since 1978 and over the years has developed a range of programmes from Diploma level to Bachelor's degrees (BBA & BA) and Master's degree (MBA & MSc.). All degree courses are offered in association with our partner institution, Heriot-Watt University, and are taught using course materials provided by the University. Students do not need to attend classes at the University - all teaching takes place at the WLC's London campus - but they are entitled to be presented with their degree at the same graduation ceremony as the University's own students, and this ceremony takes place at the University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Heriot-Watt University has been named as Scottish University of the Year 2011/12 in the Sunday Times University Guide. The Award was made on the basis of Heriot-Watt's innovation, teaching excellence and research and the employability of its graduates. Alastair McCall, Editor of The Sunday Times University Guide said: 'The University has a fine record for innovation and relevant research and its graduates are highly regarded throughout the world'.
