Heriot-Watt University Bachelor's Degree in Business & Finance (BA)
An intensive two year programme leading to a British university degree.
This degree programme is very similar to the BBA but has a final semester specifically aimed at those who seek a career in the financial sector. Some of the very top salaries in the world of commerce are paid to those who work in this area of operations, particularly in banking, capital markets and financial services. It can also act as the perfect entry qualification for the Heriot-Watt University Master's Degree (MSc) in Financial Management.
Please note: Because the early stages of the Business Administration, Business & Finance, and Accountancy degrees are identical in terms of syllabus it is easy to switch from one to the other at the end of the first semester, or even later. Experienced academic staff are on hand at the College to provide guidance with making such important decisions. Applicants should therefore not be concerned about making the wrong choice at the enrolment stage.
