West London College is accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Further and Higher Education (BAC) and officially licensed to offer the academic programmes of a number of British universities and examination boards. In addition, West London College has been awarded Premier Membership of Study UK and is rated by the United Kingdom Border Agency as a Highly Trusted Sponsor (HTS)


West London College is rated by the UK Border Agency as a Tier 4 Highly Trusted Sponsor (HTS).

The College has been awarded Highly Trusted Sponsor (HTS) status because it has able to demonstrate a good track record in recruiting only students who comply with UK immigration laws. As a Highly Trusted Sponsor the College maintains good standards of student oversight from course enrolment through to graduation.


The British Accreditation Council - West London College is accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Further and Higher Education (BAC).

It is very important that all students, particularly those from overseas, should be able to select a college confident in the knowledge that it is an institution offering high standards of education and operating according to clearly defined levels of competence. The British Accreditation Council for Further and Higher Education was established in 1984 in direct succession to an earlier scheme run by the Department of Education & Science. Its sponsors include the chief bodies responsible for the maintenance of academic standards in Britain: universities and, colleges, national validatory bodies, public and professional examining boards and also those bodies - such as the British Council - with a particular concern for overseas students.

West London College has satisfied the standards laid down by the Council in respect of: premises, general organisation, the control and supervision exercised over both students and staff, the quality of teaching and supporting services, including the suitability of courses for the needs of students; and legal and financial viability.


The University of Greenwich - West London College has been validated by the School of Computing & Mathematical Sciences of the University of Greenwich to teach the final year of its Bachelor's with Honours Degree in Computing within its status as an Approved Partner of the University.


Heriot Watt University - West London College has been validated by Heriot Watt University to teach 6 of it's programmes: Business Administration (BBA), BA in Business and Finance, BA in Accountancy, Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Masters Degree in Financial Management (MSc) and also its Masters Degree in Marketing (MSc) within West London College's status as an Approved Support Centre of the University.

Heriot-Watt University was originally established as a school of science in 1821 and is named after the famous engineer James Watt, who invented the steam engine. The University is authorised by Royal Charter and has developed a strong reputation in the fields of management, engineering and science. The campus is located in Edinburgh, Scotland and also houses the Edinburgh Business School. WLC has offered courses leading to Heriot-Watt University degrees since 1993.

Bournemouth University - West London College has been validated by Bournemouth University to teach the final year of its Bachelor's with Honours Degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management course within its status as an Approved Partner of the University.


Study UK - West London College has been awarded 'Premier Membership' of Study UK, the official membership body of BAC accredited colleges. Study UK exists to represent UK independent tertiary education and foster the best possible standards within the sector. Premier Membership is a status only awarded to those independent colleges that are both well established and are duly authorised to run British university degree programmes under official license (having successfully undergone a full British university Quality Assurance inspection).


Virgin Atlantic - West London College is approved by Virgin Atlantic and the Guild of Travel Management Companies, to offer their courses in Fares & Ticketing. WLC is the largest such training centre in the world.


Association of Business Executives - West London College has been an approved teaching centre of the Association for Diploma level courses in Business Administration since 1981 and Advanced Diploma level courses in Marketing and Business Administration since 1983.


British Computer Society - The British Computer Society is the most respected and prestigious of all British IT examination boards. Their students achieve a valuable qualification for each year of study and will be eligible for British Computer Society membership (MBCS). These qualifications are guaranteed to impress employers in the UK and around the world. It is worth noting that most senior practitioners in the British computer industry, commercial and academic, are members of the British Computer Society.


Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality - West London College has been an approved teaching centre of the Confederation since 1986 for Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in Hotel Management and 1993 for Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in Travel and Tourism.


OCR - West London College has been an approved teaching centre of the OCR examination board (formerly the Royal Society of Arts examination board) since 1976.
